George Daranyi was born in Lima, Peru, and became an American citizen in 1989. He is a noted attorney, intervention coordinator, lecturer, workshop facilitator, and poet. Mr. Daranyi has been involved with The Mankind Project, an international nonprofit men's support organization, for sixteen years, and is currently serving as its acting chairman. In addition to his work with men, he also coordinates interventions for people who are afflicted with a broad range of problems, including alcoholism, addiction, gambling, depression, and anxiety. His legal practice consists primarily of representing families whose members have contracted cancer as a result of the U.S. government's extensive program of above-ground nuclear testing in Nevada during the 1950s and during July of 1962.
